Archaeologists have been able to dig out a mass burial of 97 infants in a Roman Villa in Buckinghamshire and the burial is believed to be belonged to a Roman brothel.

In Roman times infants were not believed to be human until the age of 2, therefore archaeologists believed they might have been infanticide. Infanticide was thought to be normal in that era as unwanted pregnancies in brothels were customary, therefore archaeologists explains that those babies might have killed by locals.
