Football in a new dimension

Football fanatics filled over 1,000 pubs to enjoy the match in another dimension.

A large number of pubs (over 1,000) were rammed more than usual by football supporters on Saturday to watch Manchester United vs Chelsea in superb 3D action.

The match was broadcast on satellite T.V giant Sky's 3D channel, Sky 3D - the first ever 3D channel in Europe and was a hit with thousands of football supporters and pub owners/landlords, even thought glasses must be worn to receive the 3D effect.

The channel will broadcast in homes next autumn ,which is enough time for 3D televisions to officially hit the shelves and be accepted and approved by the general public as the "new" way to watch television.
