A Blink Of An Eye Saves A Man’s Life

A man who has been in coma and on life support has blinked his eyes in a desperate attempt to save his life when the doctors were about to turn off the life support.

The 43 year old Richard Rudd has been involved in a serious accident and has fallen in to coma. The doctors believed the condition is irreversible; therefore the family has lost hope of him ever waking up. Hence they have given permission to the doctors to turn off the life support. However when they were just about to turn off Richard has blinked his eyes, then the doctors have asked whether he have the will to live, he has blinked his eyes to that too.

Thanks to his miracle movement he is now up and living, and his same story has inspired to a documentary in BBC about patients having brain injuries.
