The reason i think the driving age is going up is because young driver don't have enough responsibility. The young drivers don't care if their drunk or stoned they will just drive the car anywhere. In 2007 there were 8,479 young people killed driving cars. Instead of using cars for going places young people will just use them for a joy ride.

If my son got a car he would probably crash it in the first couple of hours. These days kids are way to hyper and active. In my day we use to relax and we wouldn't try to rush things like getting a car.
