Brent Hospitals in £32 Million Financial Crisis

Your local liberal democrat councillors are calling for action after it was revealed that Brent’s hospitals have fallen into £32 million of debt

Along with local Brent east MP Sarah Teather, Councillors Sami Hashmi, Chris Leaman and Hayley Matthews are calling for help for our vital local services.

Hardworking liberal democrat MP Sarah Teather said “Gordon Brown found £32 billion to bail out the banks but now local doctors and nurses are set to lose their jobs. This is wrong and it must stop now”.

Local Mapesbury councillors and chair of Brent’s health select committee Chris Leaman said “Brent resident have paid the price for far too long for the mistakes made by this labour government. That is why your local Mapesbury councillors are backing Sarah Teather MP’s campaign to save the jobs of our local doctors and nurses”
