Frensham Common on Fire!

Fire has broken out on the common adjacent to our properties!
Road has been closed whilst the fire service fight to contain it along with the police & local wardens. It covers a large area and as long as the wind doesn't change direction we should be okay!

Neighbours have been told they will be informed if they need to vacate.
There are people on the beach at Frensham Great Ponds, swimming in the water and they have a great view of what is going on.
We were checking our local fisheries to inform customers in case it gets any closer,when there was a JCB on a tractor which passed us in Jumps Road
which is now on the ridge attempting to create a fire break.
Traffic are using Pond Lane as the A287 has been closed from there back towards Frensham Lane. Access to main roads are closed.
