Less rubbish being dumped on Brent streets - Apparently
FLYTIPPING has plummeted by two thirds according to figures release today by Brent Council.
In June, there were 649 reports of rubbish being dumped in the streets of the borough, compared with 1830 reports in the same month in 2006.
The figures show a gradual decline in flytipping since mid-2006, and were hailed as a sign of success in tackling the problem by a leading councillor.
