For a change there has been little rain on the Isles Of Lewis,Scotland, this is when the Firefighters are on stanby waiting.......

The fire broke out around 12pm today, 21 may 2008
The fire broke out on a hill very near my home,getting to the fire was a problem for
the Firefighters as it is only a dirt track and even then they were well short of reaching the fire.
The lads i must say worked like beavers for around 6hours pulling fire hoses for 100's of yards to reach the fire's seat.
A pat on the back for the Firefighter's of the Isle Of Lewis,Scotland.
