A recent study has unveiled that shower heads contains Mycobacterium Avium, which is a bacteria that causes breathing illness. According to the scientists this bacteria is frequently found in water and those who suffer from the illness may show signs of tiredness, a continual dry cough, shortness of breath, weakness and depressed.

Shower heads are ideal places for the bacteria to grow therefore if there is an oily biofilm on your shower head that means the bacteria is present. Therefore to get rid of the bacteria clean the shower heads and curtains regularly and if you are taking a shower let the water run for a while before having it on your body.
