A fierce broadband price war has broken out since TalkTalk have offered customers £50 to switch to them. TalkTalk will pay clients of Tiscali if they move their home phone and broadband, and other firms may soon offer similar deals.

Furthermore accountant Ernst & Young won't sign of Tiscali's accounts due to "fundamental uncertainties" about its financial position. Not good!

Personally I think Tiscali is wack after a miserable experience two years ago, of which they STILL send threatening letters to take me to court for the unpaid sum of £29.99- although my internet service had NEVER been activated.

Their customer services is also a joke! I never got through to a technical support team, or to anyone that could give me answers or reassurance on connectivity. They were quick to sign me up, and slow to get the ball rolling. I cancelled everything after two and a half weeks of being fobbed around.

Proud to say I’m with TalkTalk and have no complaints whatsoever. I just wish this 'switch and net' offer was available at the time!
