The Elevation Networks Launch was one to be proud of. Hosted by Barclays Capital in Canary Wharf, the event was an undoubted success with what seemed to be a full house and an engaged audience!

Their motto of "Know Who, Know How" focusses on the value of leveraging you network and building it at every given opportunity.

A humorous talk given by Wilfred Emmanuel-Jones, otherwise known as "The Black Farmer" delivered a grass roots, no nonsense approach both life and business. Emphasizing that regardless of your background, social standing or colour that you can make it if you have the focus and drive to do so.

The underlying ideology behind Elevation Networks is the concept of networking. We seek to target young people within society where the opportunity to network is not being fully utilised and appreciated - such groups include ethnic minority communities, lower profile universities, women and people with disabilities.

We aim to create a networking platform that will propel young people into their future careers - whether as young professionals or as budding entrepreneurs. We seek to make students more employable as well as to encourage innovation and enterprise in young people throughout the UK."
